I'M NEW
WE'RE DELIGHTED YOU'RE HERE
Whether you're searching for a church home or simply curious about who we are, we want to welcome you with the warmth and clarity of the gospel. At Christ Church, you’ll find a small, close-knit group of families committed to historic Reformed theology, Christ-centered worship, and life together in obedience to God’s Word.
We understand that visiting a new church can feel unfamiliar—so here’s a little of what you can expect when you join us.
Before you visit, you might like to know...
What is your worship service like?
We gather as whole families—family-integrated worship with no mandatory age-segregation. Services are reverent and liturgical: prayer, Scripture reading, expositional preaching by Pastor Andy Halsey, and singing from the Trinity Hymnal (psalms and traditional hymns, not exclusive psalmody). We keep it simple and focused on glorifying God. On the last Sunday of the month, we celebrate the Lord's Supper together.
Do you offer childcare?
Children are welcome to stay throughout the service. Nursery care is provided during the sermon for children aged 4 and under, for those who desire it.
Is there Sunday School?
Currently, we cannot offer a morning Sunday School because of our building constraints. However, on the second and fourth Sundays, we have an evening program for children focused on a biblical theme.

What should I wear?
Our focus is the glory of God, not appearance. You'll see everything from shorts and T-shirts to jackets and slacks—come as you are.

What time and where is it?
We meet from about 11:15am to 12:30pm at 101 South Hinman St. Columbus, IN 47201.
Since another congregation meets here before us, we usually begin arriving around 11. We make up for our late arrival by staying afterward for a good long while visiting. A light snack is offered after the service to keep the children (and, truth be told, their parents) from starving.
